Of course you should quit for you but if that isn't motivation enough, do it for your daughter. People seldom get to see the end result of years of smoking...emphsima.
My father died from it and the last few years of his life he was confined to his home for the most part. Going anywhere was an ordeal because it was necessary to carry an oxygen tank, not to mention his lack of breath even with the extra oxygen.
It's unfortunate that more people don't see this end result because those who suffer with it don't get out much.
It won't be easy but isn't that the way so many worthwhile endeavors are? Good luck.
