There's nothing really wrong with being called a liberal. My opinion on the matter is this. The right (especially in talk radio) have done an excellent job at demonizing the word - liberal. I know it's a cop out to keep blaming talk radio for a lot of these things we talk about on here - but in this case - in my opinion - this is why. I consider myself liberal because at its roots - liberal means to be free. I consider myself a free thinker - not bound by boundaries of dogma. I also favor change - especially as it relates to the actions of government. I want to see changes made in the way people are treated - in no particular order - women, minorities, gays, young people, and the poor. In my opinion - governing under a liberal philosophy is the only way those changes are going to be made.

Which was not your question. So - I guess my answer is that I don't not like being called a liberal.
