You cite Coulter as an interesting read which sheds some light on your thought process. By besmirching the time Kerry spent in VN as simply a photo-op, you fall right in line with how Coulter characterized Max Cleeland's time in VN. Here's a quote from her regarding the injuries Cleeland received in VN (for those of you who don't know - Cleeland lost three limbs as a result of his time in VN) - now here's Coulter - “But he didn't ‘give his limbs for his country,’ or leave them ‘on the battlefield.’ There was no bravery involved in dropping a grenade on himself with no enemy troops in sight. That could have happened in the Texas National Guard -- which Cleland denigrates while demanding his own sanctification.” But what Coulter fails to grasp - and what Kevin ignorantly parrots is that a war zone is a war zone is a war zone. You don't sign up to fight in war just so you can take cool pictures of yourself. But then again - I guess this is the type of shite you have to take if you want to believe their arguments.
