Dale,

By the way, I do hope that you realize that the previous posting was done is pure saracastic humor.....no animosity intended....

Up above in another post I tried to detail that there is a difference between what most of the Democratic 527's and people like Dowd, Soros and Moore have stated about Bush when compared to what the Swiftboaters have been in their ads detailing about Kerry.

There are plenty of websites and newspapers that are now picking apart those who have made these claims and are showing that many of these people are angry with Kerry about what he did after returning to the US.

Also, the claims that they are making in their first ad does not have the evidence to back them  up.

In contrast to the Moveon ads, the ones I have seen are based on things like economic stats or environmental stats that have evidence to back them up.  And I will agree that most stats can be molded to show whatever the presenter wants to show.

And of course some claims have been overblown, but nothing like the Swiftboat ads.   At one point they are saying Kerry was a brutal killer and in the next breath that he was a coward.  How can you have athe two?

But the Swiftboat ads are way over blown in their content, accuracy and honesty and in my opinion, the dem leaning ads don't come close to the level of the Swiftboat ads.

Don't mistake me....I don't agree that Bush was a deserter.  I don't think he ever had the intent to be a deserter; he was just a party hound and trying to find the best way out of war (there is a quote by him about not wanting to blow out his ear drum or flee to Canada, so he decided to fly planes to better himself).  Now, I do believe that if you look at his TANG (Texas Air National Guard) records you could make a technical argument that he might have been AWOL.  But again, I think back in those times it was more about partying, goofing off, staying out of Vietnam and that's how a lot of those places were ran.
