The point is, years after Vietnam, Kerry was apparently still trying to embellish his service record.  Added to his Silver Star commendation were the words "By his brave actions, bold initiative, and unwavering devotion to duty, Lieutenant (jg) Kerry reflected great credit upon himself...."  This sentence wasn't in the original document but is it now and Lehman is questioning how it got there because he didn't sign off on it.

This is nothing new because this sort of thing is what the whole SBV controversy is about.  Kerry forever trying to make himself out to be a wounded war hero when he was nothing of the sort.

Is there any chance that you're at all questioning what Kerry would have you believe?
