What I should have added is that what worries me more than anything is the Bush adminstration's lack of diplomatic skills, or more precisely, their seemingly distaste for diplomatic skills. 

And to be frank, I partially blame the democrats for this.  By this I mean it is so hard for me to believe that some where in our government there wasn't a credible debate over Bush's "premptive doctrine."  That Middle Eastern scholars were not consulted and no one pointed out something as simple as if the US maintains an extreme policy of a premptive doctrine, what is to stop some of the most rogue nations from accepting their own premptive doctrine. 

I just think Bush has started us down a very dangerous road.
