I cannot recall one piece of electronic media reporting on this story or the particulars involved.   And it is very sad to me that foreign print reporting is better than the US print reporting, especially that of the dailies. 

We are so preoccupied with the meaningless here (the collective US), rather than what is really important and it is sad and frightening indeed. 

What is even more worrisome is that over the past almost four years, we have had failures in our government of the worst kinds and not only has no one been fired or held accountable (I take that back - one of Bush's former money people was fired for stating the Iraq war could cost around 200 billion, and a General was "retired" for saying more troops were needed), but that the same thinkers are still planning whatever.
