>>I've just watched the first 50 minutes. David, I can't vote for Kerry. Even if you give us 50 songs, I just can't do it. Based on what I just watched and heard, I can't believe I even considered it.Thanks anyway.<<
I just watched the same 90 minutes you watched Dale and it's hard for me to fathom your reaction. However, if that's your response after watching Bush's squinty-eyed, pursed-lipped, rambling, incoherent reactions to Kerry's accusations of inept, untruthful actions toward the War on Terror, then David certainly needs to withdraw his offer to you, even if the rest of us suffer as a result. (to DB:We'd like some music goddamit, not held hostage to some right wing vote, okay?)
Kerry conducted himself very, very well tonight. Bush looked pathetic- bewildered and retreating to his predictable platitudes about "freedom", "the enemy", blah, blah, blah: all trite cliches designed to evoke fear in the voting populace. If you are so divorced from reality Dale that you think Kerry deserves the negation of your deal with David then fine. Be true to your sorry self and cancel your offer to David. The rest of us will understand; we've had your number for a long time. Just like GAtkinson, who took a powder when I wagered him on the election, you guys pump up your chests and then fade when the heat is on.
Pathetic.
