Dale, I disagree. In all honesty, if the situation had been reversed, and had Bush outdone Kerry in the debate(s), I might or might not change my vote, but I would certainly acknowledge Bush's performance as Kevin has re:Kerry. The stats have always shown that "decided" voters seldom change their decision based upon the debates, but the non-committed voter might make their decision based upon these debates alone.
Also, if you can't stomach Kerry and bring yourself to vote for him no matter the music deal or whatever..fine. But...I have a hard time believing the reason for that decision stems from you getting a bad impression of Kerry from last night's "debate". After he finally settled down, I think Kerry was succinct, poised and showed command of the facts of our current situation regarding terrorism and Iraq. His speaking demeanor and body language cast him in the light of a true leader, and I think one I would be proud of should he become elected. If he is unsuccessful in his bid for Presidency, I at least feel better that he got a chance to show himself to the American people in a public forum.
