Well put Gene. You're right. I watched the first hour and I hoped to hear just how he was going to win the war in Iraq. What is this plan of his? When Kerry was asked this question I sat up and waited for the answer but he didn't answer it! Instead he went on and on (again) about how Bush "misled" everyone and got us into this mess in the first place.
Maybe he did do much better in the last 1/2 hour but I missed it. It looks like the pundits agree with your assessment.
