Republicans would have you believe that before Kerry acted preemptively he would seek approval from the world community. If he didn't get it then he wouldn't act. That's NOT what he said. His point was that if you acted preemptively you must be later able to prove to world that it was for legitmate reasons. If you can't then you've sacrificed your credibility on the world stage. Which is why we're in the pickle we're in now. No WMD, no Al Qaeda link, and thus no international support. We've lost our credibility and it's gonna take a long time to get it back.The point to my original post is that Republicans and Democrats are guilty of doing the same thing.
