Hey, the thing is what the critics say don't mean a hoot...everybody has an opinion. I'm sure it's painful to read after so much heart, soul, and work has gone into something but the film has not even come out yet really...at least not here in Massachusetts. Film critics have watched too many movies anyway, so if you wanna tweak their nipples you gotta throw 'em a good curve I think. Take that flick, The Crying Game...I thought that was a so so film but it had a major curveball in it so the critics loved it. When you make an honest heartfelt picture I think it's a 50/50 and what warms one person's heart may turn anothers stomach..so take it all with a grain of salt.
Seems all involved did their best and that makes it a worthy effort to be proud of. Of course they could have cheapened the film by putting Mick in it...Hobbits seem to draw a crowd...furry little bastards.
