Now Pat, if you type you are looking forward to Jackson Browne's next cd, I'm really going to be shocked!
Actually no but I do have his Running on Empty CD. A close friend at work is and went to see Jackson this summer in Linden Texas. Jackson came to a little town on a charity thing and Bill (my friend) said he played solo like 3 hours. Very small place and he was able to get backstage and meet him. Bill likes him so much he named his son Jackson :). Bill by the way is a staunch Dem.
Mellancamps drummer Kenny Arnoff played the last tour with John Fogerty (like 7 years ago). That was one great show. Fogerty sounded great and the Creedence songs sounded better with the new band. I'm screamin Fortunate son with the rest of them
Unfortunately he has released a weak album and I checked out his A&E By Request show and he did not sound nearly as good with this new band
