ANOTHER ROGUE STATE REJECTS WEAPONS INSPECTIONS 11/15: Nearly 200 activists formed citizen weapons inspection teams and delivered a notice of intent to inspect Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, a facility involved in the design, development and testing of nuclear weapons. After delivering the letter, the crowd pledged to continue returning to the Lab, until teams of international and civilian weapons inspectors are admitted. REPORT SHOWS THAT KMEL IS NOT THE 'PEOPLE'S STATION' "Young folks are listening to KMEL, not the news," said Nicole Lee, organizer for Let’s Get Free. "We need the station to include the voices of our youth leaders, not blame them, and be willing to look at the public policies that are the root causes of the problems in our communities."
