well, i'm in SF so you can guess where i stand on this one. but i do think that while most people don't believe in legal discrimination against the GLBT community, they were put off by MA and Newsom's disregard of current law in pursuing the matter so aggressively. i believe Feinstein was correct when she noted that it was 'too much, too fast'. however, i'm still waiting for someone to tell me in detail exactly how gay marriage 'threatens' their straight marriage. anyone?
