Icon Do Republican Politicians Have Any Shame?

The current move in Congress is to shield DeLay's position if he is indicted. The usual practice is to remove politicians from their leadership role if indicted.    Guess what?  When Democrat Dan Rostenkowski was indicted in 93, he lost his, but now it is different?!?

Then move on to the conservative "moral values" push this past election.  Let's be honest, it was just an anti-gay measure.  Now, guess who will be running the RNC?  Ken Mehlman, who is rumored to be gay.  (Normally, I am not a believer of outing people, but in cases like this where a group of people are treated so terribly and people like the Cheney's and Mehlman's are part of the group doing the bashing it might be a different story).

Now Frist of the Senate is against filibusters because his party is in power, but when they were in the minority party they loved them.

I have yet to see a group that brings hypocrisy to such higher levels than these current politicians in Washington.

What a sickening joke - They say they are Christians, but hate gays and the poor; they say they are fiscal conservatives, but have bankrupted the country; they say they are patriotic, but are unable to tell the truth about Iraq.

When will they truly become moral people?
