PRH - my idea for the mix tape was something people would download - listen to - and get turned on to different music. If you want to submit an original track - that'd be cool. The mix tape tracks should all be mp3 - just so they're quick to download.
There was the idea floated around some time back about putting together a CD of DB covers and originals that would be "treed" like we've treed CDs in the past. Gene emailed me and should be sending a track my way soon. Now, those tracks - if sent over the net - should be flac or shn...better for the CD.
So - mix tape that's on-going = mp3 / cover compilation for the future = shn or flac. Cool?
