An idea that's been kicked around for a while here might have finally got the traction it needed. This afternoon - I received the first submission for the Punks and Drunks DB cover collection from Gene up in Maryland. It's his version of The Crash...and damn if it doesn't sound really nice. Top notch recording, Gene, and an excellent cover. True to the original with enough of your personality (loved the horns) to make it yours. Now, hopefully this is the impetus we needed to get all the other musicians motivated. In my best Ted Knight voice from Caddyshack...."well....we're waiting!"Danas for Gene's song - I'll wait until I hear from him as to what I can do with it - like place it online, etc.
