You're exactly right Dan. In my own non-linear way I'm attempting to point out the complete irrelevance of the R&R Hall of Fame.
These institutions "honoring" the ephemeral spirit of rock and roll are tanking everywhere. Seattle's own Experience Music Project has had to close part of their exhibit space for lack of interest and open a "Science Fiction Museum"; the only thing more pathetic than a museum dedicated to rock music.
