If we lived in a country where the minority was completely silenced over every controversy. Look back at every inventor, rogue, maverick in every facet of American life and imagine if they quit just because the majority said it could not be done, or that it should not be done. As a country, we need every dissenter, critical thinker, loudmouth et cetera to keep all of us on our toes. We must have views of both extremes to keep us objective and reasonable. One thing we cannot allow to do is to force dissenters into the dark by punishing the most vocal dissenter into a hole, no matter how outrageous his or her views are. Seriously, think about your own life and how many times you have bit your own tongue where there has been something you have wanted to say but did not have the courage or guts to say it. No matter the point of view, rather it be O'Reilly, Robertson, Falwell or people like Churchill, I am thankful there are people out there with the guts to say what is on their mind. Otherwise we would all be chilled in our thoughts aand refuse to say anything critical of America.
