Taking the first song in a car karma thing one step further - anyone remember what songs were playing whenver they crashed up their car? I'm working on a small greatest crash hits myself (I'm an excellent driver...yeah....yeah...excellent driver).
Sarah McLachlan - Adia - This song was playing when I coasted gingerly into a car driving perpendicular to me at 55mph. The car was my first car (85 VW Golf) - and was officially totaled with that crash.
John Prine - Fish and Whistle - This song was playing when I drifted off to sleep behind the wheel on the Eastern Shore of Maryland on the way back from a Valentines night spent at the beach. My valentine was fine - she was sleeping too!. The car lost two hubcaps and the drivers side window. But she got me and my valentine back for our 8:10a class.
Myshkin - Country Girls - This song was the soundtrack for at least two complete 360 degree out of control turns in the middle of a rain soaked median on 20 North headed into Charlottesville VA. I mistakenly tried to pass a car during a deluge with less than steller tires. This wasn't really a crash - because I was able to re-start the car and drive up out - after catching my breath.
So I have 3 tracks so far.
Anyone else have any stories?
