"Queenslanders are renowned for having a much broader accent than anywhere else in Australia". ...I disagree..anywhere out of a city(out- bush) has a broader accent..be it WA or QLD for Eg : Theadore in Qld or Broome in Wa,the locals have a real "Outback Jack "type accent..unless of course they are Irish!
