It's hard to fathom that the few Conservatives on the board are still trying to see that "the glass is half full in Iraq". It is manifestly obvious to any unbiased, thinking person, that Iraq is failing on a massive scale. What yardstick do you people need to convince you: $200 billion down the drain with much more to come; 1600 dead Americans, 12,000 wounded Americans; tens of thousands of dead Iraqi civilians; and, AND, a weakened military and a distracted Executive Branch that have taken their eyes off of genuine threats: North Korea and Iran. And if that is not scary enough, there is a strong liklihood that Iraq will futher descend into a civil war. This scenario will only strengthen Iran. Two years ago, prior to the start of the war, I posted here that a "shitty situation can be made worse". And it has! I can only conclude that your pride gets in the way of your admitting you were horribly foolish to follow this most deceitful of a "leader" . Mature men admit their mistakes and move on. Hell, I've admitted here that I fucked up when I supported Bill Clinton. Why can't you?
