First, you've never debunked a single statement of mine, or of Reg's or EEE's, or anyones, as far as I can remember. Instead, you choose to simply disbelieve an easily verifiable fact, ignore the plentiful evidence supporting it, and then continue on like any other bellicose blowhard, or belligerent buffoon or a bloviating barfly, blah blah blah.

It is amazing to me that any functioning primate who can type or use a computer is not aware of the Downing Street Minutes, or the stovepiping and manipulation of clearly fraudulent intelligence to justify war, who is unaware of the legal language that Alberto Gonzales was requested (by the White House) to cook up to justify the use of torture, who is unaware of the torture and murder in custody of US prisoners, or the many other crimes against both international and domestic law that have been violated by this gang of fascistic thugs who seem to have so captured your affections.

Second, I've made myself very available here. I can't think of very many other artists who would bother even debating with people like you, or the many other right wing ninnies who've made a continued point of insulting them. I tolerate and even welcome it, because it allows me to do things like insult you in return (see above) without feeling any faint twinges of guilt. I like to insult people sometimes, too, and your lack of manners makes it a guilt- free type of exchange. Feel free to respond in kind, or just to go off and bother David Gray. Maybe he'll respond differently to you.

Third, Triage II and Pentimento (the acoustic album) are proceeding at the pace they can, which is slowly, as I have to fund them myself, and simple fiscal reality and family obligations necessitate making a living. In the last year I've scored or collaborated on scoring 8 films, about a half dozen commercials, two TV pilots, a musical/feature film, 3 or 4 albums, and some other things, as well as satisfying my political and parental obligations. I'm sorry that that's not enough for you.

I'd like nothing better than to concentrate full-time on expressing myself personally in music, and would be thrilled to do so immediately, if you'd be so kind as to send me a check for $250,000.

As far as the Dave Ricketts thing, I was absolutely ready to make the personal and financial sacrifices that would be necessary to make that happen. But it takes two to tango, and he wasnt prepared to do the same.

I think it's very touching, your blind support of this regime, and suggest you may create a positive example to others who share your sentiments by volunteering your services to the armed forces, as their recruitment goals are not being met. Until you do so, don't blather to me about supporting the troops, or being a patriot, because you're doing neither, while I, on the other hand, am doing both. If you do so, and find yourself in Kabul, or Baghdad, with a bayonet attached to your rifle and combat roids, rest assured that I will be doing everything in my admittedly limited power to end this thing and to get you home in one piece.

You do seem to have good taste in beer, so at least there's that. Maybe somebody can ship you the odd case or two to enjoy while youre serving with the National Guard in this conflict that you so clearly endorse so wholeheartedly.
