Though I am a big fan, it's hard for me to get excited about the settlement. The lying idiot owners have totally ass-raped the players.

The league is but a shell of what it once was. Strong locally supported franchises in geographic areas predisposed to hockey have been abandoned, and now there are teams all over the south. Nearly every step the commisioner took was botched - relocations, overexpansion, and then the lockout/strike/lost season. With the exception of maybe George Bush, there is not a better example of poor leadership and misguided, bumbling actions.
