Why of course there was/is Kevin. From your response it seems clear you are for open borders, and support these non-American people breaking our laws. Many Americans actually believe the laws are there for good reason, and should be enforced, nothing more.

I would like to hear others up on the board's take on this subject. You can bet the MSM will now label any chapter of the Minute Men as "racist" vigilantes. Hell even Bush called them vigilantes effectively trying to nueter them. This is how I see it with illegal aliens
Pros:
1. The offer cheap labor to a US labor force hungry for unskilled labor
Cons:
1. They are coming in illegally, breaking the law
2. We are spending countless $$ educating illegals and even offer ESL classes(I work inside of the Texas Educational Agency) at the cost of the American Taxpayer
3. We are giving them free health care at the cost of the American Taxpayer
4. We are considering giving blanket Amnest to illegals here in the US(Effectively rewarding those who break the law)
5. There are problems with crime with illegals in many areas
Now lets start and stay with #1.Con
Is the governement on either side of the political bandwagon going to do a thing about it. No! and why not? Votes that is why. Hell Bush won't even address it as a problem. He sees it as not really an issue. I mean this is not rocket science to seal the borders and keep the illegals out.
Now I'm not going to excuse the actions of the Texas chapter
but since nothing is being or never will be done what are we to do? But Kevin lets brand the only group that is standing up for
the rights of the American law as mean spirited, racists. Yeah thats it. That will solve the problem. Doh!
