Tell me some choices where poor kids have other access to the college money that the military offers. I know of none. Sure, one can take out college loans and pay them off over a period of twenty or thirty years.

Also, tell me - what takes more balls - some kid fleeing to Canada or some pro-war chickenshit finding ways to avoid something that some other person who lacks the means to avoid will surely have to step into.

Frankly, I'd love to find a place that has accurate numbers on people who fled to Canada because of Vietnam because I bet they were actually quite low.
