I contacted Mr Carmine of the original post and his reply follows. I will update you as more information comes to light as there are several researching this new development.

And please, if you have other concerns or find this insufficient, do voice your specific concerns. In other words, all constructive suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you

Mr Carmine replied:

Two Families in Guildhall VT are already headed to court at the hands of TNC.  They are the Cantins and the Taylors.  Ms Maudedda Taylor is elderly and so too are the Cantins.  Maudedda Taylor on my last discussion with friends of the Cantins is likely not able to fight.  The Cantins too are worried about the legal fees, but Harland is very fiesty and will certainly fight and fight hard.  The basic information on the case is filed in the Guildhall Town Hall.  Jon Binhammer of the VT Land Trust is also part of TNC legal staff trying to take this property likely for future resale in light of his own web site article regarding the VT Land Trust.  This is certainly not an in depth response, but I too would rather neither of us eats any crow.  TNC is well aware there was contention over the boundaries when they received the land from Champion and now are applying their vast legal resources to overwhelm these people in Guildhall who owned this land since the 1800's.  Yours
