Allegedly - (I wouldn't know upon sight or sound) Jack 'strings' his guitar for bass - I've liked them ever since I saw an awards show and they played 'Have You Ever Loved A Woman?' - it was badass! He played slide..you know I don't hear slide (outside of country) or horns anymore on popular radio - how about you? It was enamoring. If you'd like - I'll post a pic of my practice pads that got wired into a midi 'drum' set and the $200 midi keyboard all rigged into the 'puter - using existing equipment - it was cheaper than buying a 'good' acoustic guitar and less disruptive than a real drum set - the former of which is first on my list after new year's...that aside - my stuff sounds like kid's toys...you get what you pay for..I'm still listening to Matis Yahu - particularly 'Father in the Forest' - whose refrain/chorus occasionally leans on the 'word' 'ribbydibby'...I am certainly going to see the Stripes - couldn't get tix to U2 - remarkable how quickly that became impossible...
