I'd expect they would reenforce their investment with necessary infrastructure. And at that cost, at taxpayers expense, I've gotta believe they'll do it up right so it pays for years to come, cyclones or no.

PS BTW, following up on Cassandra's weather modification topic, I found some very interesting stuff from the WSJ and NYT's regarding using Russian developed technology to create cyclones for the purpose of removing smog in Malaysia.

I for one would really be interested in the scientific types of DBIS's opinion. From reading these various sources, it seems weather modification, although not an exact science, is possible to some degree or other. Get past the conspiracy junk, tell us what you think of the sources and treaty's mentioned etc.
