I can't get this song out of my head and keep playing it over and over. For those who don't know, Neil Young almost died early this year. He wrote a lot of the songs while waiting for surgery on a brain aneurysm (he has just revealed in Time magazine that after the surgery the repair work burst and he almost died and that he wasn't even going to publicize the aneurysm until after the repair work had to be repaired). My interpretation of this song is that all things in life are fleeting, especially the memories of those things and we have to hold on to them very tightly or they will fade away and we'll lose them. I was listening to this cd while watching two of my girls play and thought how true about memories. It is so easy for them to fade away. I'd post the lyrics but they are not online yet.The chorus goes:It's a dream
It's only a dream
And it's fading away
Fading away
It's a dream
It's only a dream
Just a memory
Without anywhere to stay
