I watched an interesting show last night , from the same man who made the doco Super Size Me...I couldn't believe the minimum wage laws you have there..how can people be expected to survive on those amounts...http://www.dol.gov/esa/minwage/america.htm if you compare those minimum rates to the minimum rates here in Queensland, you could consider calling USA a third world country http://www.wageline.qld.gov.au/awardsacts/qldminwage.html
Yeah except that the U.S. capitalism and economy kicks Australia's into the Down Under. Why do you think that is?
Upping the minimum wage has a negative impact on the economy by putting unnecessary constraints on business's bottom line.
