OK, I appreciate his honesty, and I do agree with many of the things he has stated, at least appreciating his point of view, which is not without some foundation and forethought.

HOWEVER...this "it's great to go out and kill Bambi " mentality, is just a little too much for me.  I know all the pro-hunting arguments, and I think that other non-hunting carnivores are still passively killing animals for consumption...but...try this "logic" out for size...A quote from the great Ted Nugent:

"Take your kids hunting, so you don't have to hunt for your kids".  Great logic, Ted.

It's  often seen as a bumpersticker on pickups large enough to haul the carcasses of the duly slaughtered.  The same pickups that have either NRA stickers on them, Charlton Heston for President, or the Confederate flag with the quote "Heritage not Hate" attached.

Pardon the gestalt, but I think it points to white male, kinda "right"leaning...maybe...uh..redneck?  hmmmm..
