one of many "bands" that lots of the kids seem to be listening to. i played a hodgepodge show with one of the kids, and though he mostly drummed, he also sang a few songs... one original, one ben harper, and a catchy waltz by NMH. i've since gotten the album in the aeroplane over the sea, and at first i thought it was kinda watered-down-flaming-lips-y. now i just think it's flaming-lips-y. and i like the lips. and the album version of that waltz has three bowed saws doing harmony parts. maybe not the persistent favourite that this thread was about (?), but certainly a fun discovery.
