Anybody out there familiar with this band?  Unusual sound.  I have the CD entitled, "The Soft Bulletin", which I bought on spec, because of the cover mainly (shows an old LIFE magazine photo of a guy on acid "freaking to his own shadow"..I remember reading as a kid, I think the article was around 1965), and also the reviews of the CD,  which were uniformly raving.

I find the vocals mainly irritating, and the lyrics somewhat silly, but there is some very interesting instrumentation, and sound textures.  Anyone else out there who has this, or has heard the recording...let me know what you think.
