Just found out some sad news on the band yesterday... their current tour is being cancelled because guitarist Kirk Rundstrom has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. This is one of the funnest and most energetic bands I've ever seen, and Kirk is an amazing talent.
I emailed Kirk when I found out, and he said this in his reply:
Thank you for your words of encouragement.
Send anyone interested in helping to grainanddemise.com my new CD "To the Heavens" is out and will be helping to pay the bills.
Let everyone know I am attacking this thing with full force.

I don't know anything about Grain and Demise, but am going to check it out.
