I heard the winged dinosaur thing too and there was mention of some doubts about it elsewhere in the scientific community. Nobody mentioned it but the really revolutionary aspect of the finding would be the occurrence of a vertebrate with 6 limbs, rather than the four all other reptiles, amphibians, birds and mammals are limited to. This has been cited as one of the reasons men can never be angels.
