It was a good day at my local purveyor of fine ear candy. I had dropped in to snag a bithday gift for my nephew and as I headed to the counter to check out I noticed, on the floor, 5 boxes of cds with a little sign that said "Free Cds".
Well, I'm not one to pass by free music without flipping through to see what gives.
I snagged several interesting label samplers, samplers from CD review and as I was getting to the end of the last box I found an advance copy of 16 Horsepower's "Low Estate" and a complete Mike Ireland disc.
I haven't heard any of it but hey, it's free music. The funny thing is, as I started digging in the box, it suddenly struck me that I had meant to check into 16 Horsepower while I was there.
