Thanks guys and gals. Leg 1 is done. I am now in LA. I leave for Sydney tomorrow eve; 15 hour flight (dreading it), but got my trusty iPod cranked. My son put a few "surprises" on there, and of all people there was some John Mayer (I have to take back some of what I said; he is not really a great blues guy, but he does old style soul and R and B soooo well. A couple of the tracks sounded like Otis Redding; The "live" album. Don't know what it's called. He can play SRV to a tee...but cannot do Hendrix at all).
Kevin, I won't get up to the Queensland this go round, so no Al. (sniff, sniff). Anyways I think he is off to NZ to see his daughter compete during my time frame. From the way he describes her athletic prowess, I'm sure we're going to see her in Olympics in the not too far off future..)
I had one of the best Burritos of my life tonight at a coffee shop in the Hacienda Hotel near the airport. Actually it was one of the best meals of my life. I'll have to come back here..just for the f'..ing burrito. It was so big, they should have lifted it onto the plate with a shovel! Damn I ate the whole thing and the jalapeno pepper they served...sooo hungry. The woman sitting next to me on the plane had a different odor for each hour of travel. First it was this disgusting chicken sandwich she bought from Wendy's or Burger King...(nauseating stench), then a hand lotion that smelled, and finally some chewing gum. But she was nice.
Off to bed. Will arrive in Sinney Tuesday AM. I lose Monday travelling.
