For me, I think we need them all--- ethanol, biodiesel, hydrogen,
wind, tidal turbine, nuclear, all of them. If we were spending 10
billion a month on energy independence rather than war, we could
have a nice, functioning civilisation to leave to our kids. Hell, if we
could come up with a better energy storage system, we could
supply the world with energy at a large profit. Maybe even have a
middle class to speak of.
