There is no doubting the massive impact that Nick Drake's short career has had on subsequent artistes. Unfortunately in a biog written by Patrick Humphries, he is compared to Peter Skellern: idolising the deceased is one thing but...Peter fucking Skellern is/was utter shite! There is a release somewhere of Tamworth tracks, but maybe Nicks family dont want the same fate to hit his memory as hit Marley and Hendrix where the sound of scraped barrells was released as tribute/cash-in.
