IMHO one can support the troops by making sure that they are taken care of, whether in Iraq or here or wherever. It seems to me that once a troop, always a troop and to that  end they need to be taken care of. Proper equipment, food, training, etc. with all the perks that were promised to them and to all the other troops that came before them. Just because I am against the war and all that Bush has obfuscated (have no idea if I used that word right, but I enjoy it...) to have this war of meaninglessness does not mean that the men and women who have become a troop for whatever reason do not deserve to be treated as human beings and not as fodder for some insane stance taken by our country's leader. They deserve everything that was ever given a troop before and perhaps more and the guarantee that another egotistical maniac like Bush down the line doesn't take away health care and cut back on spending for the troops as this cancerous piece of sh*t that thinks he is a king has done.
