The other thing about Goss... Appears he was one of the sort of
white-collar managers of OP40--or Operation 40, which is a quick
Google. There's a fascinating photo of him and a bunch of JM/
WAVE operatives, commandos, assassins, etc... in a Mexico City
nightclub in the early '60's. The guy Goss has his arm around is
the legendary bad actor Felix Rodriguez... A real nexus of crazy
ass cowboys. I think this photo is the original inspiration for James
Ellroy's "American Tabloid". It sure sets your mind a-wanderin'.Thanks for sharing Rich's column with those of us who are
boycotting the NYT's TimeSelect dealie.db
