While Making Movies is a great album, I'd pick either On Every Street or Money For Nothing as Dire Straits best...but of course that's just my humble opinion :)
I thought On Every Street was by far the worst album they ever put out. Money for Nothing did not age well but the 1st Album did. Communique was good and Love Over Gold a not good experiment. If the brothers Knopfler ever got back together again that would be a special album but in my reading and communication with David Knopfler that aint happening.
