I'll try and answer both questions - Kevin when you put it like that I see how his actions could be interpreted in a manner that would suggest physical force was acceptable. However it is obvious that there was that dilemma because Jewish people were under the rule of Rome were they not...he did not advocate a violent overthrow which was why he was not accepted as the messiah...? Change can be achieved by peaceful means...look at Gandhi...

Yes Green there is a Buddhist 'hell' there are 7 realms of existence none has any permanence to them. The human realm is the only one where enlightenment is attainable...or so it goes...don't take my word for it though find out for yourself!!!
