Many a moons ago I went to a concert in a small niteclub in Snottsdale, Arizona. The concert was by the late, great Kirsty MacColl with a very young David Gray opening. Well, David had visa problemsans was unable to open for Kirsty, who played an extended set. It was special to see her perform live and would have been more so, with David there. His debut,"A Century Ends" is still me fav. You can now buy all of his albums. Thank god! they re-released them. The new album is quite strong in the lyric department. I'm favoring it over "White Ladder", More mature and do I dare say?, a more mellow smooth sounding affair.
