This afternoon we viewed An Inconvenient Truth as a family in a great little art house.  Everyone from grade school kids on could view this film & get more value from it than most anything around right now.  It pains me to know that the morose machine will refute this film at every turn, …but the truth is worthy of at least one viewing by everyone, JMHO.  This flick is about more than global warming, …although that should be enough.

A trailer that was shown is a little Lions Gate Film titled The US vs. John Lennon.

Looks like a flick worth seeing as well.  War is over…if you want it.

In lieu of little sparkling outdoor explosions around a good fire tonight, because of a gnarly storm, we watched Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.  It’s my humble belief that EVERY politician in this country should be required to view this movie and publicly respond to each and every scene, …over and over and over again until they demonstrate signs of getting it.  & those who don't can get free room & board for the remainder of their miserable lives in the Fletcher’s Memorial Home.  This flick should be remade, word for word, in Technicolor…& backed by a monster media blitz.  The original version was nearly blocked by the then administration.  Good thing that back then some of the studios still exercised a bit of free-will.
