Yeah, I was a bit depressed to hear the news today but it isn't over for Floyd yet. Here's an article from Sports Illustrated which helps to shed some light on Floyd's situation. The article speaks about the cortisone injections Floyd was receiving for his hip and daily oral thyroid hormone treatments he was taking for a thyroid condition. Maybe Gene can chime in about the possibility of those having the ability to cause a high testosterone reading. The article goes on to mention that high testosterone readings are not uncommon among pro cyclists and that "in hundreds of cases," Landis said, "no one's ever lost one." I hope he's not the first.
