Thanks Reg, I appreciate the response. I grew up a Methodist and my parents were not very consistent with it. In my teens I wandered over to the Baptist church down the street because they did a ski trip once a year.
Disillusioned and confused by both the Methodist Baptist and Presbyterian churches I sought out a non denominational church in my late 20's and from that I started to understand the hypocrisy of all the denominational faiths. You sound well read in the bible so it is obvious you have been in the scriptures.
Have you read much by CS Lewis? Screwtape Letters perhaps?
