I know there have probably been posts about Doyle before..sometimes I never pay attention.  But, my brother sent me 2 of this guy's CD's...JellyCream, and Welcome.  I am completely jazzed..the most phenomenal music I have heard in a long time.  A pastiche of blues, Derek and the Dominoes style rock sound, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray, and interestingly, some Beatles nods as well.  Ultimately, all "Doyle" though, and very original sound to the songs as well as some unique tune arrangements.  There are some slight Lenny Kravitz sounding timbres in the vocals at times, but if that thought never enters your head, you won't be bothered, and the sensation of LK passes quite quickly away, when you sit down and relax.

HIGHLY recommended.  I know, it's probably been well posted before.
